You can do a gastronomic break where you will discover the diversity of natural products, honey, cheese, jams, “foie gras” without forgetting a good slice of bread to appreciate them. |
A little ramble will do meeting many vestiges of steel-making and medieval past. The villages’ heart has preserved the traces of the “prieuré clunisien” with the porch near the town hall and the bell-tower of the church, only part classified with the listed monument.
St Pierre d’Allevard’s mountain admits in the heart of its forests many vestiges of the work of several generations of miners, the kiln of Taverne, Vaugraine’s town. Walking, driving strolling and the opening big eyes, St Pierre d’Allevard hides many secrets.
